Bringing Christ to the World: Verbal Witness and Mercy Ministry in the 5 Cities

Fulfilling our mission goes beyond the worship and fellowship we experience in our services, small groups, classes and homes. If we are obedient disciples we will live out Kingdom values in the community through deeds of mercy and service, and we will proclaim the good news with clear verbal witness. Learning to tell our own story, the Jesus story, and redemptive community stories should be a large part of what we do together, so we can easily share those stories with others. People need to see and hear the Good News from us regularly.

God knew what He was doing when He sent you to the 5 cities.

He has put you in your neighborhood, your job, your school district, your grocery store for Kingdom purposes. These ordinary places of daily life are where ordinary Kingdom living is to take place: serving the poor, helping the hurting, caring for orphans and widows, praying for the sick, and freeing captives from bondage—ordinary men and women being the hands and feet of an extraordinary Savior.

Below you will find an amazing group of ministries where you and your friends can serve in the community. Check them out and contact the leaders of the ministries that spark your interest. Listen to the Holy Spirit, grab a friend and start obeying where you are. Speak. Touch. Go.
