Live the Mission – Update

Since our Live the Mission campaign began in November of last year, over 260 families and individuals have committed to support the program with their prayers and giving. More than $1.1-million has been pledged, which is a good start on the $3.1-million needed to fully fund the objectives.

Over the next couple of months you will be hearing a lot more detail on each of the three major ministry initiatives that make up Live the Mission. The GBC elders have formed some special committees and are developing specific plans for each of the initiatives:

• Developing Spiritual Leaders

• Equipping & Supporting Healthy Churches, and

• Finishing the Physical Campus at GBC.

The committees will be reporting back to the entire GBC community with plans and timelines for each of the initiatives so you can follow progress on all of them and pray for their impact on the overall ministry at GBC.

Live the Mission is a three-year special campaign developed to raise funds over and above the normal church budget. If you’d like more information on how to participate by giving to or praying for the program, please call the church office at 489-4200.
