5th & 6th Grade
Sunday Mornings @ 8:45am
56ers - 5th & 6th grade students gather in the Fifty6 room, above the GYM entryway.
This large/small group atmosphere is where our pre-teens build community. GBC 56ers enjoy a time of connecting with friends and adult leaders, growing together by serving together, and seeking change through God-centered lessons.
Join us for our current study: Faithful to All His Promises. Our hope, with this Children Desiring God curriculum, is that students would respond and be changed, from the inside out, by God's Word. This age group is usually when we see whole-hearted commitment to Jesus and baptisms!

The Bible consistently and explicitly lays upon parents the primary responsibility for teaching and modeling God's truths to children. Our ministry sees the vital responsibility of supporting parents in their biblical role. We desire to see parents equipped to nurture the faith of their children. Check our Resources/Forms tab for help as necessary.
Sunday Mornings @ 10:30am
Middle School Students are invited to attend the Contemporary Service with their parents and/or leaders. A Student Sermon Sheet is available in the Worship Center entryway.
Our philosophy: we value worship together as a family; we want to form early practice of committed church attendance. The experience has priceless impact on a life of Christian transformation: praying, singing, giving, listening, thinking, learning as well as witnessing and practicing the ordinances of baptism and communion.
On the last Sunday of most months we offer 5th & 6th grade students the opportunity to be dismissed from the Contemporary Service with the rest of the children… 56ers meet in the Jr. High room for activities following up on their experience of the Contemporary Service! December 25, 2011 (Christmas) & July 2012 (Summer Camp) are the excluded months.
Events
Once in a while, we like to do something a little out of the ordinary: serving, giving, or just hanging out to see more of what God is doing in us and our community. Check our News and Events tab when you get a chance. Fill out a Welcome Card with info you would like. Also, follow us on facebook for any updates.
