Elementary K-4th

Cross Training Sunday morning programs offer Biblical teaching for children in grades K-4 at both our 8:45am and10:30am services. We offer a different program each hour, so parents can attend a Sunday school class and the Worship Service without your children getting “bored.”
First through Fourth Graders attending our 8:45am hour will be in small groups as they learn Bible Stories through the workshop method. The children focus on the same Bible Story for four weeks, learning about it through different fun avenues such as drama, music, art, science, games, and even food. In this model, children are able to learn and apply the stories in new ways. Our focus this year is on the Bible.
First through Fourth Graders go with their families to the worship service at 10:30am, and are dismissed to class from there by 11:00am, Our classroom focus this year is studying our church’s statement of faith, using creative object lessons, teaching, and age-level small group discussions.
Kindergartners have their own class with age-appropriate Bible teaching during both services. Our first hour curriculum is produced by Karyn Henley, and our second hour curriculum is Group’s Hands-On Bible curriculum.
The goal of our Sunday morning education program is to teach God’s word in a relevant way so when a child leaves children’s ministry they would know Jesus as their personal Savior, would know that they are a valued member of the Grace Bible community, and they would possess a Biblical worldview.
