Children's Choir
Children's Choirs going on now!
We offer children's choir for three age groups:
Joyful Noise (Pre-K through 1st Grade) Meets on Thursdays, 3:30-4:30pm
Melody Makers (2nd through 4th Grade) Meets on Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30pm
Resonate (5th through 8th Grade) Meets on Wednesdays, 4:45-5:45pm
The Resonate and Melody Makers
We’re very excited to be a part of the lives of your children as they learn to express their love of God through the avenue of music.
The object of the choir will be to first and foremost give the children a place to worship God. This will be done in a variety of ways:
- Using and training their musical abilities in order to make melodies in their hearts unto the Lord
- Preparing and performing a musical with song, script, choreography, sets, and costumes
- Ministering to the church body through their participation in the worship services and in special programs
- Learning biblical truths through songs and lessons
The Children's Choirs are led by Tiffany Lokkart, the Children's Music Coordinator at Grace Bible Church. She is a gifted musician, loves children, and is ready to lead your child into a wonderful world of melody making for the Lord!
The children's choirs are a fun way to get your children involved in both ministry and music. The choirs meet during the fall (September to mid December) and spring (mid January to May). The children learn age appropriate singing techniques, music theory, choreography, drama and dance, all from the perspective of offering it as worship to Christ. Children are invited to sign up at the beginning of each semester. There is a $45 registration fee per semester.
