Free Income Tax Preparation by AARP volunteers is available here at Grace during Feb. 1 to April 9, 2010.

AARP Tax Volunteers have many uears of experience preparing federal and state income tax returns and must pass a comprehensive IRS test. All sites offer electronic filing. Refunds can be direct deposited in your bank account in 10-17 days.

There are no income limits for seniors, age 60 and above. For younger taxpayers, annual incomes are limited to $45,000. Volunteers prepare tax returns with income from most sources. However, taxpayers with income from rental property, most businesses, partnerships, or farming, those with unusually complex tax situations, and those needing tax and estate planning advice should consult a tax professional.
