A Word about Timing
I’m not much at cooking, as most of you have heard and some of you know. I do put together a simple breakfast for Charlotte and me on a daily basis. So, I am thinking, “I do prepare one-third of our meals.” Not bad. But then there is the evening meal. I’m not much good at that at all. Thomas Young, Martin Shibata, Jim Tahmissian and of course my wife, Charlotte – they’re good at evening meals; not me.
I will say, the other day I was grilling burgers; salmon and beef. Optional toppings included cheese and bacon; trimmings: lettuce and tomato. Where I still mess up is with timing. A couple of minutes too long on the “barbie” and, well, you know what that is like; bad news, anyway you cut it. Yes, timing is everything.
The Bible says that God demonstrated His love toward us… and he did it at just the right time! This Sunday in our “Finding Christmas” Series, we visit a wonderful text in Galatians 4: 4-7 where we learn what it means to be Finding Love. Our world is desperately in need of love… timely love, God’s love. I hope that you will be here and bring a friend with you. For an on-time departure… be in the worship center at 8:45 or 10:30.
A few other reminders:
