A Word about the Message...
Fault a politician for all kinds of things, but you can’t fault them when they stay on their message. For a number of months now, our President’s message has been that of “fair share.” Whether you like the definition of his tenet or think he hasn’t even given one, is not my point. Mine is… he is consistently on message.
And what is the message of Christmas, of the Gospel? How well can we state and define it? Do we stay on “message” with it? While some people insist its definition is up for grabs, the Bible is crystal clear about its content. We can know the gospel message. And this Sunday, in a sermon called, Simple Message, Simple Messengers, we will study how Acts 4: 5-13 defines our message and task.
Simple reminders:
- Our “Simply Christmas” concerts are Friday at 7:00, Saturday at 6:00 and Sunday at 2:30 and 6:00.
- Pass through rooms S 5&6 and pray for our missionaries this month. They love it when we pray for them. And God works through your prayers! Maybe you could pick one of them and send them a personal Christmas greeting. Addresses are available through Vikki in the offices.
- December 24th and 25th: Christmas Eve services are at 3:30 and 5:00 and Sunday’s ONE service will be at 10:00!
