Even for a Believer, the loss of a spouse, whether unexpected or following a long illness, can sometimes be devastating. Grief is handled differently from individual to individual, but many of the symptoms are common to all who experience this kind of loss. Talking to someone who has gone through similar situations can be especially helpful. If you are a widow and would appreciate talking to another widow, please give Pastor Bruce or his Assistant, Andrea, a call at 489-4200 and they will see that someone contacts you. We have two wonderful women, Nita Griffith and Dawn Vallender, who have a heart for coming along-side other women who are going through the grieving process.
