Begin Investing in Children's Lives Today!

There are current opportunities for volunteer and paid positions in all aspects of our ministry. Our midweek Childcare Ministry hires qualified workers to watch children on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings during the school year, as well as Thursday mornings and for special events. If you enjoy spending time with children and are looking for a place to serve, contact Angelina Tharp.

Additionally, you can pick up a Volunteer Application at church to volunteer with children regularly. Cross Training has many volunteer positions for people who are gifted in working with children as well as for those who prefer to serve "behind the scenes." Please contact Lyn Jones at to full out a volunteer application or to find out more about the positions available.
These are the current needs: 

Elementary Department

We are in need of leaders for:

• Second and third grade boys small group(2 times a month)10:30 service
• First grade boys small group 10:30 service
• Substitutes for these and the girls small group leaders 10:30 service
• Teachers for our 8:45am service, leading a workshop

Children’s Ministries

• Small group leaders for our 10:30 children's church service. We do a large group worship and teaching time, then break up into age and gender small groups for application and prayer.
• Individuals to learn our check-in system, greeters and substitutes.
• Special Needs – we have a few families who would like to have a “buddy” for their child during Sunday School and/or Children's church. We will provide training.
• In order to help keep our expenses down, if you shop at Costco, please consider purchasing a large container of gold fish, animal crackers, Ritz crackers, graham crackers or a gallon of apple juice. You may drop it off at the Children’s Window on Sunday or in the office during the week.
